01.Introduction & Agreement
Welcome to Smrithi's ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website, submitting an appointment request, or commissioning bespoke garments, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and applicable studio policies. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our digital services and contact our client care team for guidance.
02.Bespoke & Custom Stitching
Every bespoke creation at Smrithi's is an individual masterpiece hand-tailored to client specifications. Measurements, artisanal fabric selections, embroidery motifs, and silhouette specifications are confirmed collaboratively during design consultations.
- Measurements: Measurements are recorded during private studio fittings or calibrated using client-approved reference garments. The final garment reflects measurements signed off at the time of consultation.
- Handcrafted Variations: Authentic hand-embroidery, zari embellishments, natural dyes, and handloom fabrics possess inherent artisanal nuances. Slight variations in texture, weave, or hand-detailing are distinguishing characteristics of luxury handcrafted couture rather than imperfections.
- Client-Provided Materials: Where clients provide personal fabrics, trims, or heirloom accents, Smrithi's exercises utmost care; however, the client remains responsible for the structural integrity and suitability of such materials for the intended design.
03.Appointments & Private Consultations
Online appointment submissions represent scheduling requests and are not considered confirmed until our studio concierge communicates formal confirmation with you via your registered contact details.
To respect the dedicated time of our master stylists and artisans, clients are kindly requested to provide timely notice for any cancellation or rescheduling requests. Applicable cancellation notice periods and studio consultation guidelines will be communicated at the time of appointment confirmation.
04.Orders & Payments
Couture commissions and custom tailoring orders commence production only after design finalization, client sign-off, and receipt of the required advance deposit or booking payment.
The agreed deposit schedule, milestone installments, and final balance due upon fitting or handover are itemized on the individual order invoice provided at the time of order confirmation. Garments remain the property of Smrithi's until payment has been completed in full.
05.Fittings & Alterations
We are committed to achieving an immaculate silhouette. For couture, bridal, and tailored commissions, trial fittings may be scheduled prior to final garment delivery to evaluate drape, comfort, and proportions.
Alteration terms, eligibility windows, and any applicable adjustment provisions within the agreed design scope are governed by your bespoke order agreement. Significant design or silhouette alterations requested after fabric cutting, embroidery commencement, or final garment handover may incur additional material and craftsmanship fees.
06.Cancellations & Refunds
Because bespoke and custom couture items are individually commissioned, tailored, and crafted to unique client measurements and bespoke specifications, custom orders cannot be canceled or refunded once fabric procurement, cutting, or embroidery work has commenced.
Deposit non-refundability, work-in-progress cancellation terms, and any eligible pre-production adjustments are determined in accordance with your signed order agreement. In all instances, our studio works closely with you through our fitting process to ensure your custom piece meets our standards of excellence.
07.Intellectual Property
All designs, silhouettes, sketches, embroidery arrangements, photographs, brand marks, and digital content displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Smrithi's. Any reproduction, adaptation, publication, or commercial exploitation of our proprietary creations without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
08.Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any contractual bespoke commissions entered into through or in connection with our studio shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
